I took the plunge and bought an electric scooter. Why? ‘Cause why not! I’ve been planning on building one, and when I fouund one on the list of craig that only needed a charger. I decided to give it a shot. I figure, if it doesn’t work, I‘ll at least have a platform that is already set up for electrics anyway....

Looks like this, just a little more banged up. EDIT: any advice o clearing up the speedo gague cover would be appreciated. it’s a little funky.

You must be pretty ecstatic to have picked up such a cool project.

I am. While mechanical things make me a little nervous, I’ve never had that problem with electrical things.... Once i feel comfortable with my understanding of how this bad boy works normally, I’m going to look into doing a few upgrades. for speed and lightness.

And I am a complete 180, is it spins or moves and can be reduced down to various combinations of the six basic machines I’m all in. Electric components though, if it goes beyond simple continuity and voltage testing I tend to shy away.

I just hook it up and if it doesn’t blow up, I’m pleased! If it does blowup, I amused as long as I’m not on it when it happens.
